Nail Polish Addiction | New Additions (Zoya)

Hey Divas & Gents!

You should all know about my nail polish addiction by now, so this post should come as no surprise! Zoya had a great sale a few weeks ago. You could try any three (3) polishes free (with the exception of the new collections), and only pay $10 shipping! That is a steal for Zoya! Most of their polishes are around $8 so it's essentially like getting three (3) for the price of one (1)! I took advantage and got six (6) polishes.

I've been meaning to try the fleck effect polishes so I got the green one in Opal. I also got a gorgeous black holographic micro-diamond glitter called Storm. I also picked up some great metallics and creams. Feast your eyes on these!

L to R: Kimmy, Evvie, Opal, America, FeiFei, and Storm

Kimmy -  "Zoya Nail Polish in Kimmy can be best described as: Gleaming metallic candy apple red brightened by gold sparkle."

Evvie - "Zoya nail polish in Evvie can be best described as: Dark smoky grey cream with strong teal green undertones."

Opal "Zoya Nail Polish in Opal can be best described as a sheer green base with reflective Mylar flakes that shift from bright green to blue.? A fun flake glitter topcoat that can be layered over any shade to create a fascinating 3D effect."

America -  "Zoya Nail Polish in America can be best described as: Bright, bold, medium retro tomato-red creme."

FeiFei -  "Zoya nail polish in FeiFei can be best described as: A medium steel blue base with heavy gold, blue and pink iridescent metallic sparkle."

Storm -  "Zoya Nail Polish in Storm can be best described as a full coverage, holiday black with a high concentration of micro fine diamond holographic glitter."

You can find out more by visiting Zoya's website: http://www.zoya.com

Did you pick up any polishes from the sale? If so, what colors did you pick up? If not, what color do you think I should use first?

OOTD | Blazing Hot Pink ft. Black!

Hello Divas & Gents!

It has been awhile since I've posted an Outfit of the Day so this post is long overdue! I posted this outfit on my YouTube channel and received an overwhelming amount of great response, so I hope you enjoy. I have an all black ensemble that I spiced up with a hot pink linen blazer! I love wearing black but I also love wearing bold and edgy pieces. I also wore this another time with denim and pink/leopard flats. The pink blazer was just the perfect touch and added pizazz. I'll list all of the outfit specs in this post!

Palmolive Fresh Infusions | First Impressions & Thoughts

Hey Divas & Gents!

I am always washing dishes, so this shipment couldn't have come at a better time! I received these three (3) Palmolive Fresh Infusion dishwashing liquid bottles from Influenster and was so excited when it came in the mail last week. When I first opened the box, I could smell a very strong scent but hadn't even got a chance to take them out yet. The Ginger White Tea had spilled in the box but it didn't bother me because I know how the post office can be at times. The first thing that caught my attention was the cute bottle design! It is so aesthetically pleasing and has such a vibrant look to it. I love the shape of it and I also love the classic spout design. The next thing that drew my attention were the unique and catchy names -- Lime Basil, Lemon Thyme, and Ginger White Tea. They also seem fitting for dishwashing liquid. Not only that, but the colors of each corresponded to my thoughts of each name.

I posted a photo on my Facebook beauty page and got tons of hits. I asked them what they thought my favorite scent would be. The general consensus was that they loved the Lime Basil scent. I tried that one first and it actually lived up to the hoopla. Ironically though, Lemon Thyme stole my heart. I love how refreshing and clean it smells and seems to remind me of fresh citrus.

Palmolive Fresh Infusions seems to be very gentle on the hands, while still cutting the grease. I always use AJAX dishwashing liquid because I love how much it cuts the grime, but Palmolive seems to be working just as fine. It has replaced my AJAX dishwashing liquid for the moment, and I can't wait to use the other Palmolive Fresh Infusions that were sent!

Did you receive this set? Which scent is your favorite? What are your thoughts on Palmolive Fresh Infusions? Would you buy it?

UPDATE | Happy New Year!

Hey Divas & Gents!

I know it's been forever since I've been on my blog, but I promise to do better this year! I hope everyone had a great holiday and is having a great new year so far! I didn't make any resolutions this year -- just goals that I will set out and achieve. I will let you know as I go along this journey.

I have a pretty full plate already and have managed to juggle it all, slowly but surely. Here's a little sneak peek into some things that are preoccupying my time. I am now a YouTube Partner through the FullScreen Beautique Network. I have been a partner since August/September, but have not publicly announced it. I will soon! They reached out to me via email last year, and I have been enjoying every minute of it. I can't say that I like the new YouTube layout though ***chuckles***. I'm also working full time (8a to 5p), still making great strides with my small graphic design business (which is doing very well for the top of the year!), managing Exprimez-Vous Cosmetics, promoting for The iLL Lines (jewelry company), and writing for Under30CEO, just to name a few.

I must say that I am truly blessed and thank God for giving me these opportunities. There are so many things that I want to accomplish and I sometimes struggle to get there, but I know with persistence, it will become a strong reality. I'm rambling now, so let's get back to beauty and fashion :) I will be posting a series of blog posts to make up for lost time. Love you all, and thank you so much for supporting me!!!! I truly appreciate it.
