$1.99 NYX Dupes? - TruColor Sugar Butter Lipsticks

Happy New Year Divas & Gents!

A good friend of mine on YouTube recently sent me some lipsticks called TruColor Sugar Butter Lipsticks. I was so in love with the wide variety of colors that I ended up searching high and dry in my area until I finally found a display. They had all types - matte, pastels, nudes, and cremes. I decided to pick up quite a few more. To my surprise, they happen to be dupes to the NYX Butter and NYX Matte Lipsticks for half of the price! Yes, I said half of the price. They are only $1.99 - $2.99 at your local beauty supply store vs. $5.99 - $6.99 for the name brand.

You can check out my video with live lip swatches for more information on these lipsticks. Most of them are pretty pigmented so I definitely recommend that you try them out for yourself. Get a close look at the pictures below.

Skincare Additions | Valentia Skin Detoxifying Clay Mask & Eternal Youth Exfoliating Scrub

Hello Divas & Gents!

Eternal Youth Exfoliating Scrub & Skin Detoxifying Clay Mask

Oh how I love skincare! I always like to say that you cannot have amazing artwork without a clean canvas. Therefore, we must take care of our skin in the best way possible. I have recently implemented two new products to my skincare regimen and couldn't wait to share.

The first is the Valentia Skin Detoxifying Clay Mask. The packaging is just beautiful. It is sleek and has an elegant feel to it. The mask is no-fuss and it doesn't have an odd color like some other masks I've tried in the past. The texture is like a regular mask with a few hibiscus and cranberry flowers that give it less of a smooth feel. I absolutely love the fact that the ingredients are natural and organic, which means that you don't have to worry about harsh chemicals damaging your skin. The face is one of the most sensitive parts of the body, and we must treat it as such. It contains kaolin clay, plant stem cells, spirulina, CoQ10, and hibiscus and cranberry flowers. The combination of these products cleanse, firm, tone, detox and clear skin of impurities as well as reduce pore size. It's one product with many benefits.

It's very easy to apply - I simply apply it to a clean face in circular motions and let sit for 15-25 minutes. I then wash off with a warm towel. It leaves my skin so smooth and radiant and it also feels so firm. You can definitely tell that it is removing impurities and detoxing the skin. The only con I have about this product is that it burns/stings when you first apply it to skin. I thought maybe my skin might have been sensitive but it seems to be common in the reviews I read. I believe it is from one of the ingredients and I assume that it is helping to draw out the toxins in your skin which is a great benefit! I tested this product for about 3 weeks in a row, applying about once a week and skin looks great and feels smooth each time.

I also enjoyed their Eternal Youth Exfoliating Scrub because it cleanses the skin and the beads feel so good on the skin and smell good too. It leaves the skin smooth and radiant. The ingredients are also natural and are made of organic ingredients including green and white teas, aloe vera, jojoba beads, olive, avocado, and kukui butter. It seems to refresh the skin.

The texture of the scrub is a "jiggly" gel like consistency that slides and has beads in it. I usually apply it in the shower and then wash it off. I have used it a few times a week for about two (2) - three (3) weeks and it does a great job at exfoliating my skin and cleaning out my pores. The smell is amazing and I like that the packaging is nice on this one as well. You can easily distinguish it from the mask because the scrub has a black top which I like. This a great way to never make the mistake of picking up the wrong jar. The only con I of this scrub would be the slight tingly/burning sensation that the mask also had. I definitely recommend trying these two products at least once!

Thank you for reading.
